2025 at Allies Cat House

This year didn’t start with a plan.
It started with a situation that made our stomachs drop, and the realization that if no one stepped in, it was going to get out of control — fast.
Here’s what that turned into...

That number — 110 — still stops us in our tracks.
By fixing or adopting 11 females, we stopped what could have easily turned into an overwhelming, out-of-control population. Not someday. This year.
That’s why TNR matters. Not in theory — but in real neighborhoods, with real cats.
But the numbers don’t show the nights that came with it….
The late trap checks.
The bottle feedings that ran into the early morning.
The hours spent trying to earn trust from cats who had none left to give.
The vet visits where we held our breath — and the ones where we already knew the outcome.
We lost three kittens this year.
We lost two senior cats who we saught out because someone cared enough to call.
We were too late for them — but they weren’t invisible. And they weren’t ignored. They were loved in their last moments.

This rescue exists because people showed up — with donations, Amazon wishlist purchases, Facebook Marketplace supplies, shared posts, and open hearts. Because someone gave us crates & supplies when we had none (you know who you are), and because someone shared a post that reached the right person at the right time. Because of the community.
This year taught us that prevention changes everything — and that rescue is never just about cats. It’s about people choosing to care.
Thank you for being part of that choice, and a part of the solution 🖤🐾
